Scholastic released the cover today for "Friendly Face" the upcoming 10th book in the Fazbear Frights series. It was posted to Scholastic's official website and includes a general description of the series.
Like the previous installments, "Friendly Face" will be a collection of three stories all set within the Five Nights at Freddy's universe. According to Amazon, the plot revolves around three individuals, Andrew, Mott, and Jessica, who face an issue that is worsened by elements from the Five Nights at Freddy's games. Andrew needs to replace a friend who died in an accident, Mott wants to get rid of his brother's creepy new pets, and Jessica accidentally reprogrammed an out-of-commission animatronic.
"Friendly Face" is written by Andrea Waggener with Scott Cawthon and will be released online and in stores on September 7th, 2021. It will be a total of 127 pages and is designed for ages 12-18.
The Fazbear Frights series will span a total of 11 books with the final one being released on November 2nd, 2021. Scott Cawthon, developer of the Five Nights at Freddy's games, has confirmed there is an unofficial 12th book but it will not have a physical release.
